Raven’s Cry postponed for the umpteenth time on PC and consoles

Apparently 2014 isn’t a bad year just for Evolution Studios and its DriveClub but also for Octane Games with Raven’s Cry. The joke is on everyone’s lips, we talk about the continuous postponements by the software house.

Will Raven’s Cry ever see the light of day?

The title has been postponed for months, initially scheduled for September / October it was postponed to November, then to December and now even to the end of January 2015. The question arises at this point, what is the point of setting a date if you have not sure of their job?

Below we want to share with you the reason given by Octane Games for this delay:

We wanted to make the title available for the holiday season but we are not willing to compromise, we want to deliver an epic and complete experience to players.

In other words, what the software house is saying is that it does not intend to market a game with bugs and problems of various kinds. Raven’s Cry is a pirate title that will make us take on the role of a fearsome pirate, we will be able to plunder ships, sink enemy ships in combat or exploration at sea and much more (a bit like it happens in Black Flag).

The launch is set (but don’t hope too much) for the end of January 2015 on PC, old and new generation consoles.
