Honor Magic V, official the first folding with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
Today it was presented in China Honor Magic V, the first folding device of the Chinese company with top specifications. Let’s find out the technical data and prices.
Let’s start from display: Honor Magic V is equipped with an internal OLED display from 7.9 ″ with 2.272 x 1.984 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate and an external OLED panel from 6.43 ″ with refresh rate @ 120Hz; the hinge is not immediately visible thanks to the gapless design thought by Honor, which promises 10 years of use by folding the smartphone 50 times a day.
The size when the smartphone is closed they are 160.4 x 72.7 x 14.3 mm, while when open they become 160.4 x 141.1 x 6.7 mm, for a total weight of 293g.
The photographic sector sees three sensors from 50MP: a main one of 23mm (f / 1.9), one ultra-wide angle of 13mm (f / 2.2) and a spectrum enhanced by 20mm, while the selfie camera is 42 MP (f / 2.4).
Under the body we find the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, accompanied by 12GB of RAM, 256 or 512GB of internal memory and a 4,750mAh, with fast charging support a 66W.
On board the interface Honor Magic UI 6probably based on Android 12, which integrates Magic Live technology, which promises to improve the performance of the device over time by studying user behavior.
THE prices have not yet been disclosed, but the most recent rumors speak of the equivalent of about € 1,940 for the 256GB version of internal memory and just over € 2000 for the 512GB version.
