Digital disconnection: continue reading after confinement

Now that we’re starting to feel the sun on our skin again, we have a challenge: not to stop doing all the good things we’ve done during quarantine. Probably, one of those activities has been a good book binge, and the question is: are you going to continue reading?

Reading makes us travel, dream, learn and discover that, beyond our reality, there is an infinite variety of realities. You can enjoy so many genres and reading formats that it is often difficult to know what to continue reading.

For this reason, during the month of April, on the occasion of Book Day, many authors recommended some of their favorite titles so that the confinement became something more enjoyable. Now that quarantine seems like something of the past, why not keep this good habit?

We have collected some recommendations made by different writers in the month of April, from police stories to sports books by the journalist Quique Peinado.

These types of readings are usually classics or books you would read over and over again. We know that some of you have already read them, but surely others have not, here it goes!

– The Catcher in the Rye, by JD Salinger.

– Little women, by Louisa MayAlcott. The movies are available on Movistar+.

The wind’s shadowby Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

police novels

Murders, mystery and a protagonist who is willing to (almost) everything.

The baskerville’s hound, by Arthur Conan Doyle (and our wonderful Sherlock Holmes).

– The ice princess, by Camilla Lackberg.

– The snow girl, Javier Castillo’s latest work.

books for movie buffs

And if you like movies and television, but want to disconnect a little from the screen, don’t miss these books to continue reading and learning about what you like the most:

–Cinema according to Hitchcock, by Francois Truffaut.

– The time of my life, by Hadley Freeman.

– The Other Disney Vol.1 (1946 1967), by Albert Crown.
