Avenged Sevenfold vocalist becomes CoD: Black Ops 4 character

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 received the Operation Apocalypse Z Blackout mode last Tuesday (9) in its version for PlayStation 4, and brought a somewhat different novelty in its package: M. Shadows, frontman of Avenged Sevenfold, will be a playable character in this mode.

The information was released by the band member himself in a broadcast made by Treyarch last Monday (8), where M. Shadows also mentioned being a fan of the series (which even helped the band members overcome the death of drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan in 2009).

You can see the character of the band’s vocalist (which should be available to everyone in about a month) in the first trailer for Operation Apocalypse Z Blackout (approximately at the 34-second mark). Check out:

“We have a very deep relationship with Treyarch. We are proud to be part of the family and we are very excited that you can enjoy this next chapter and our contribution to it ”, commented M. Shadows. It is worth mentioning, in September last year, the band released an album called “Black Reign” bringing songs made exclusively for the most recent game in the series.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available in versions for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As for Operation Apocalypse Z Blackout mode, it will arrive on Microsoft computers and console soon.
