AI has been part of our daily lives for several years now. And even though some use a tiny part of the possibilities offered by current tools, others manage to “automate” a lot of tasks, especially with regard to text generation. Recently, a leading specialist in artificial intelligence expressed a very surprising point of view, speaking of the possible destruction of humanity by AI.

AI is a hit among young people, with 85% of users

A few days ago, the Heaven advertising agency published a new report, which focused on the relationships between young people and artificial intelligence. Obviously, a huge majority (85%) declared having adopted AI, by using a service boosted by artificial intelligence over the last 6 months.

It goes without saying that the incomparable ChatGPT came out on top, with more than 75% of users. Contrary to what one might believe, it is by no means Copilot (from Microsoft) which comes second, nor even Gemini, Dall-E or Midjourney, but rather… MyAi. Indeed, Snapchat’s AI is used by 46% of young people, and therefore comes in second position, ahead of Copilot (25%).

Among the most popular uses for generative AI are text synthesis (56%), translation (54%) and finally text generation (51%). AI also seems to be very popular for preparing for an oral exam, or simply for testing one’s knowledge. Note that approximately one in three users would also use AI to communicate with a fictional character, to ask for advice, but also to benefit from personalized recommendations and prepare for an outing.

Note that men are more inclined to use AI on a daily basis than women, at 42%, compared to 17%. A majority also believes that AI will quickly transform the use of social networks, and that content generated via AI, already very difficult to spot today, will be almost undetectable in the coming years.

Let’s also remember that Apple recently announced the arrival of Apple Intelligence throughout the recent Apple line-up. This integration will encourage and facilitate users to use generative AI in every corner of the interface.
