Ticwatch C2: A new smartwatch for digital life

Mobvoi is now famous for its smartwatches with an appreciable design and low cost. Last night, through a presentation in London, a new device was added to the now numerous collection of watches of the Chinese company: Ticwatch C2.

Last year, in July, Ticwatch 2 was presented on Kikstarter, a decidedly particular wearable that garnered the attention of the public, concluding the crowdfunding campaign with more than 2 million dollars. The big flaw of the device was represented by the software, unsuitable for a worldwide audience.

Since then the company has made great strides, first introducing two smartwatches (Ticwatch S & E) suitable for all budgets and able to offer a good user experience thanks to the presence of Android Wear, then a device capable of guaranteeing a autonomy worthy of a watch.

The new Ticwatch C2 presents itself as the direct successor of the Ticwatch 2 with the difference that, this time, the company has completely embraced Wear OS, equipping the watch with NFC (good news since Google Pay has finally arrived in Italy ). Not only that, to accompany all the IP68 certification and a guaranteed autonomy of two days.

Unlike Ticwatch PRO, the new Ticwatch C2 has a much simpler design, characterized by a steel body and a leather strap. To move the software we find the now dated Qualcomm Snapdragono Wear 2100 (a shame given the launch of the new version).

Together with the new watches, the company has also decided to market a new pair of in-ear headphones with a decidedly similar appearance to the AirPods. Also in this case it is a product resulting from a campaign on Indiegogo that raised 2.8 million dollars.

The new headphones are available at a price of around € 129.99 in blue, white and red colors. They are compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. The declared battery is 18 hours with a recharge that in 15 minutes should guarantee you 85 minutes of autonomy.
