Spartacus Legends, inspired by the famous STARZ TV series, arrives on consoles

Ubisoft announces the upcoming release of Spartacus Legends, a fighting game that will immerse users in the brutal world of the famous Spartacus TV series, produced and distributed by Starz Entertainment and broadcast in Italy on the television channel Sky One.

Spartacus Legends will offer a unique gaming experience, based on characters from the famous TV series and will be available atStart of 2013. Players will experience the hard life of gladiators, from training in the ludus to brutal fighting in the arena, trying to become a true legend.

With thousands of lethal weapon combinations and an intuitive skill development system, Spartacus Legends offers several tools to customize your gladiators and defeat your opponents.

Players will be able to impersonate Spartacus, Crisso or one of your own custom gladiators to fight with friends in online and offline multiplayer modes, trying to conquer the top of the world rankings.

Liam McIntyre he also collaborated closely with the team of Spartacus Legends. In addition to having lent his face and his voice to his character, Liam, a great video game enthusiast, personally tested the first versions of the game, providing valuable feedback throughout the development phase.

There “Spartacus”(The Gods of the Arena, Blood and Sand and Revenge) is broadcast in more than 150 countries around the world and has been dubbed into 15 different languages. In the United States, the number of viewers grew with each season, quickly becoming one of the most successful cable series, with more than six million viewers per episode.

The upcoming final season, Spartacus: War of the Damned, will see the return of Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), Manu Bennett (Crisso), Dustin Clare (Gannicus), Dan Feuerriegel (Agron), Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Navevia) and Ellen Hollman (Saxa).

The cast will also be joined by Todd Lasance, in the role of Gaius Julius Caesar and Sìmon Merrells in that of Marco Crasso. Spartacus is produced by Rob Tapert, Sam Raimi, Joshua Donen and Steven S. DeKnight.

Participants in the Comic-Con International from San Diego will be the first to test their skills in the arena of Spartacus Legends, from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 July at the stand from Starz Media.
