Samsung Galaxy S Launches in Europe, ‘Landing Soon’ in the US

I reported two weeks ago that the phone was listed on for 650, but that price has dropped to 499.97 with 8GB of storage and 534.59 with 16GB of storage.

AndroidandMe wrote about the launch of the phone in Europe, saying:

The Samsung Galaxy S went on sale in the UK last week and Samsung held a huge launch party for the phone in Zurich, Switzerland over the weekend. We were able to find a YouTube clip that offers a fairly short description of the entire event.

CNET reportedly received a package from Samsung containing a sneak peek (pictured below) for the Galaxy S. With the teasers already in major tech news outlets in the US, it’s hard to imagine that the launch is more than a month away.
