Motorola Edge S is the first smartphone with Snapdragon 870
Motorola recently announced Edge S, the first smartphone equipped with the new processor Snapdragon 870. Let’s go and find out together!
There body from Motorola Edge S it measures 168.38 x 73.97 x 9.69mm, for a total weight of 215g. The display is a LCD from 6.7 ″ with Full HD + resolution, 21: 9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support.
On board, in addition to the aforementioned SoC Snapdragon 870, we find two cuts of RAM and internal memory (expandable up to 1TB), 6 / 128GB and 8 / 256GBand a battery from 5000mAh, which supports 20W fast charging.
On the back we find three cameras: a main one from 64MP, a wide angle from 16MP and a depth sensor from 2MP, while on the front we find a main lens from 16MP and a wide angle from 8MP.
The presence of the 3.5mm jack completes the picture, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, while the installed operating system is Android 11.
Motorola Edge S is currently only available in China, but according to the well-known leaker Evan Blass it should also arrive in the rest of the world under the name of Motorcycle G100. The price is really very attractive and we hope it will not increase excessively upon arrival in Europe: the 6 / 128GB version, at current exchange rates, costs just € 305, while the 8 / 256GB cut is proposed a little more, about € 356.
