Control available today on PC, PS4 and Xbox One
The international publisher 505 Games and the celebrated development studio Remedy Entertainment, Plc. today announced the availability of the award-winning video game Control in physical and digital versions for consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on the Epic Games Store for PC. The recommended retail price is € 59.99
Set in a parallel, inexplicable and changing reality, Control is a third-person action-adventure video game that combines the firefights that have made previous titles of Remedywith the paranormal ability.
A New York secret agency has been infiltrated by a terrible otherworldly threat, players will play the role of Jesse Faden (Courtney Hope), the new director of the agency, who will have to try to regain control. This sandbox-style gaming experience, in which gameplay – enhanced by the proprietary Northlight graphics engine – plays a vital role, will require the player to be able to master supernatural powers, modifiable equipment and responsive game environments.

To celebrate the launch of Control, 505 Games will host a live stream of the game on Tuesday 27 August – from 5pm to 1am – in order to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a hospital and research facility working to change the way address, treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Guests will include influencer Alanah Pearce, actress Courtney Hope, Remedy Creative Director Sam Lake, influencer SanchoWest and many more.
Control for PC is one of the first video games with support for several ray tracing effects, which include: transparent reflections, contact shadows and indirect diffuse lighting. Control for PC also offers support for NVIDIA® DLSS. For a limited time, gamers who purchase eligible models of graphics cards, gaming laptops and gaming desktops equipped with GeForce RTX ™ GPU will get free Control. Control is now also available in physical editions: FuturePak for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (at a suggested retail price of € 69.99) which includes the base game, limited edition art cards and an uniquely designed metal case, and PlayStation 4 Digital Deluxe Edition (€ 79.99) which includes, in addition to the base game, also the exclusive mission “Isolation”, the content “Urban Response Equipment” and the two expansions: “Foundation” and “EMD” (available later). Each expansion will include new game environments, new missions and new mysteries for players to solve.
