Call of Duty: Modern Warfare may have battle royale 3x bigger than Blackout

A recent rumor brought some very interesting news for fans who are looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. According to the rumor, the new game from Infinity Ward will have a battle royale mode with a map three times larger than that of Blackout, battle royale of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

However, the rumor says that this multiplayer mode is still in production and therefore has not been revealed, as there are great chances of being delayed until after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Apparently, the game’s battle royale will have support for 200 players (instead of 100, current standard) and will have several varied areas, going from open places to closed corridors. The element that will close the map is a poisonous gas.

The rumor says that the team currently manages to keep 152 players on the map, so there is still a lot to improve. The sources also reported that there are several classic elements of the Modern Warfare series, such as the AC-130 plane and more. Apparently, battle royale mode can be in squads, just like Apex Legends. However, it is worth mentioning that everything is just a rumor so far and Activision has not revealed official details.
