Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 loses split screen support
Taking several players by surprise, the Blackout mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 lost support for the split-screen game. This was reported by several community members after the most recent update to the game.
Treyarch later confirmed in a message posted on Reddit that it ended up making the decision to disable this option to ascertain some flaws that needed adjustments.
“Thanks for all the appointments . I talked to the team and I was informed that we have temporarily disabled the option to play with split screen to find out some flaws that have come to our attention. We will share more information in the future after carrying out these checks, ”wrote a Treyarch employee known as FoxhoundFPS.
It is worth remembering that split screen g******g was not an option originally thought for the Blackout mode, and was added shortly after the game’s launch. As for the removal, it is only valid for this modality, because on other fronts this support remains unchanged.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available in versions for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The next title in the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, is scheduled to hit stores on October 25 for the same platforms mentioned.
