Assassin’s Creed 2: game will be free from this Tuesday

One of the most acclaimed games in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed 2, will be free for PC starting this Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

To redeem your copy of the game, you will need to download it from Uplay, the official Ubisoft store. To be able to add the game to your library, simply create an account on the platform and redeem it on the Assassin’s Creed 2 page. It is important to remember that when you redeem the game, it will stay in your library forever.

The offer has yet to be made official by the developer, as it was leaked through the My Dealz website and, apparently, it was earlier than it should have been.

Apparently, this is yet another maneuver by Ubisoft in efforts to support quarantine in the fight against the transmission of coronavirus. The company is aware of the measure taken by several other countries in the world and, previously, had already released Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
