Apple pays tribute to the first Mac with new ‘Hello’ screen saver in macOS Big Sur

When does ApplemacOS Big Sur 11.3 release the update that will include a new screensaver that pays tribute to the first Mac.

The plummeting text is drawn on screen as a virtual camera that scrolls and zooms from various angles before settling into a full-screen view of the greeting.

Display options include “Soft Tones”, “Spectrum” and “Minimal”, which change the background colors and text patterns. By default, the screen saver is set to toggle between multiple languages, although a separate option allows users to correct the greeting in their native language.
