After FM Mobile 2016, SEGA also releases Football Manager Touch 2016, but only for tablets

Not a year goes by without a new chapter in the saga of Football Manager arrives on the computers of all fans … and for some time even Android users have been able to try their hand at the experience of managing a football team with what SEGA defines “the most complete football manager game available on a mobile device”.

Not even a week ago SEGA had launched on the Play Store FM Mobile 2016, a “simplified” version also suitable for hardware not of the latest generation of the famous football manager, while today it is the turn of Football Manager Touch 2016one version tablet-only and similar in all respects to the PC counterpart, unfortunately also in the price. In fact, they are needed € 19.99 to grab this title, but will it be worth it?

FM Touch 2016 can count on a database of 600,000 players and staff members and many new features, including:

• Improved tactical options for use with the typical 3D engine of the series
• “Create a Team” mode to add your team to the game
• Match analysis by Prozone
• Instructions on the opponent – impose specific orders to counter the opposing team
• More intuitive UI
• New unlockables during the game
• Cross-Save between tablet and PC to continue your career on both devices

In a nutshell this Football Manager Touch 2016 is both a standalone game and a natural “extension” of the PC version. Despite being very complete and with above average functionality, the price of 19.99 € still appears very high by mobile application standards, especially if you have already spent € 50 on the PC game. On the other hand, the owners of the Desktop version could be the most interested in buying given the very useful cross-saving function between the two titles.
